A band known for putting on an amazing live show, Newsboys, is back with their new tour and CD, Born Again. With more than 22 years of touring, this band has perfected the art of an incredible performance. Their previous album GO debuted at number 4 on SoundScan Contemporary Album Chart and at number 51 on the Billboard 200. Newsboys have charted 25 number one hits and sold over six million records, and have been instrumental in growing Christian music in the mainstream.
Newsboys recently announced dc Talk front man, Michael Tait, would be their new lead vocalist. This is a change sure to promise a positive and flourishing fresh start for the group. Their new album, Born Again, is a wonderful representation of the changes the band has gone through and where they are headed. This album will officially usher in the Michael Tait era of the Newsboys.
Audio Adrenaline, along with other Christian music acts like dc Talk and Newsboys, helped fuel a revolution in the "alternative" Christian music genre. After 18 number one singles, two GRAMMYs, and multiple Dove awards, Audio Adrenaline announced their retirement and completed their last tour in 2007. Mark Stuart and Will McGinnis, founding members of Audio Adrenaline, recently reformed their group with a passion to tell their story and inspire the next generation.
