On June 7, Darius will hold the 1st Annual "Darius & Friends" concert to benefit groundbreaking research and lifesaving care of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®. Taking place in Nashville, TN at The Wildhorse Saloon, the event will feature performances by Darius himself plus select country music friends with additional performers announced at a later date. All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to help St. Jude continue its mission of finding cures and saving children fighting deadly diseases.

Just to provide you with some history: Darius is a devoted supporter of St. Jude and has visited patients at the hospital and performed at multiple events in support of their lifesaving mission. After Darius toured St. Jude's facilities in 2009, he vowed to create a personalized event to raise money and awareness for the research hospital.
"This was a chance for my friends and I to do something during CMA Music Fest week that is for the fans while drawing attention to St. Jude and their incredible efforts," says Rucker. "It's going to be a great night of music and stories."
