Cincinnati Reds, have announced that 1,500 tickets for Opening Day will go on sale Saturday
Opening Day tickets for sale on Fountain Square
1,500 tickets available Saturday at 9 am
CINCINNATI (March 10, 2010) -- The Cincinnati Reds, in cooperation with McCormick & Schmick's, have announced that 1,500 tickets for Opening Day will go on sale Saturday, March 13 at 9 am on Fountain Square in Downtown Cincinnati.
The Opening Day tickets include 1,000 View Level and 500 Standing Room Only to the April 5 season opener vs. the St. Louis Cardinals.
Ticket prices are $29 for View Level and $20 for Standing Room Only. There is a limit of six tickets per person. Cash and major credit cards will be accepted.
Fans interested in forming a line for the tickets can start at Noon on Thursday. Fountain Square Management Group will provide overnight security.
The tickets are only available on Fountain Square, not at the ballpark ticket windows.
The ticket sale is being held in conjunction with the 3rd Annual "O'Nati's Irish Pub" on Fountain Square, hosted by McCormick & Schmick's. The 2010 Cincinnati St. Patrick's Day Parade starts at 11 am.
Reds mascots will make appearances on Fountain Square along with Reds partners and sponsors.
This is the third year in a row that the Reds have offered Opening Day tickets to fans on Fountain Square. Last year's tickets sold out in under one hour.
The March 13 ticket sale will happen rain or shine.
